Mitsling is run by Grenbase LLC, 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA (“we”). By using Mitsling, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
The service
Mitsling offers online Turkish courses and live 1-on-1 Turkish lessons. The first units of the A1 course are free. Premium is a monthly or yearly membership that opens every course. Live lessons are sold separately: one trial lesson per student, then monthly plans, which include Premium.
Who can use Mitsling
You need to be at least 16 years old to use Mitsling. Younger learners may use it only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and the parent or guardian accepts these terms for them.
Accounts
You need an account to subscribe or book lessons. Keep your login details safe and don’t share your account; you are responsible for activity in it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or abuses the service, for example by sharing paid content or harassing others.
Course content
The courses, lessons, exercises, audio and texts we create belong to Grenbase LLC; photos and other third-party material belong to their owners. They are for your personal learning only. Please don’t copy, resell, republish or share them.
Live lesson plans
- Plans include 4, 8, 12 or 16 lessons per month at $12 per lesson. The full monthly amount is charged in advance at the start of each billing month.
- Each student can book one trial lesson for $10, paid once, before choosing a plan. Apart from the trial lesson, single lessons are not sold.
- Every lesson plan includes Premium for as long as the plan is active.
- Each lesson lasts 50 minutes and takes place on a video call (Google Meet).
- Lessons can be booked within your current billing month, once that month’s payment has gone through. Unbooked lessons do not carry over to the next month.
- In exceptional cases, such as illness, Kerem may need to cancel a lesson. We will tell you as early as we can, and you get a makeup lesson that you can book within 30 days, even after your plan’s month ends.
- Lessons are not recorded unless both you and Kerem agree.
- Cancellations and refunds are covered in our refund policy.
- Please be respectful. We may decline or end a lesson in case of abusive behavior.
Subscriptions
Monthly memberships and lesson plans renew every month, and yearly memberships every year, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
Price changes
If we change our prices, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from your next renewal after that, so you have time to cancel if you don’t want to continue.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Mitsling accurate and available, but we provide it “as is”. We can’t promise that the site will always work without interruptions or errors, or that you will reach a particular level or pass an exam by a certain date.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost income or missed opportunities, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA. Nothing in them takes away the mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service grows. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects your plan, we will email you before it applies, and you can cancel if you don’t agree.
